Gov.-elect DeWine touched on the opioid epidemic in Ohio, the state of the Cuyahoga County jail system, as well as the current federal government shutdown and the need for bipartisanship.

The Republican governor-elect will take the oath of office at his Cedarville home on the morning of Jan. 14, while a public ceremony for DeWine and Lieutenant Gov.-elect Jon Husted will take place at the Ohio Statehouse at noon.
