Brookpark Skateland will not reopen, following September fire
Brookpark Skateland was heavily damaged in a September 2018 fire.

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - The family that owns Brookpark Skateland announced Friday they will not be reopening.

The popular roller skating rink in the 13000 block of Brookpark Road was heavily damaged in a fire on Sept. 19, 2018.

The Bradnan family, who has owned Brookpark Skateland for multiple generations, said in a Facebook post the fire and smoke damage was very extensive and the age of the building was a big concern.

Brookpark Skateland has provided family fun for 57 years.
