CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Frank LaRose is now Ohio’s 51st Secretary of State.

LaRose had his Oath of Office ceremony at the Oliver Ocasek Building on High Street in Akron.

One of his main platforms is to think of new ways to help out small businesses in Ohio.

He said he is grateful he was voted in.

“I am excited for this new call of duty,” LaRose said.

LaRose said he is going to fight for free markets and fair elections.

Some of the members of the military unit he served were in attendance at the ceremony.

The band of the high school LaRose graduated performed at the event.
