UPDATE: Accident causing traffic backup on the way to Cleveland on Interstate 77 cleared

Crews have cleared the accident from earlier in the morning.

An accident is causing traffic backup for drivers heading to Cleveland on Interstate 77.

The accident happened in the northbound lanes right before the Innerbelt Wednesday morning.

Traffic is stop and go from the East 30th Street exit and the Independence exits.

Some drivers on Interstate 77 have a 22-minute delay as they head to work.
