Huron County man dies after crash in Amherst Township

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - A 32-year-old Huron County man is dead after a crash in Amherst Township.
Elyria Troopers said the crash happened around 3:20 a.m. on Thursday on Middle Ridge Road.
Investigators said Tyler Mayo was driving eastbound in a 2005 Ford Explorer.
Authorities said Mayo drove off the left side of the road and hit a tree.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to investigators.
The crash remains under investigation.
