CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Travelers at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport have a new dining option for before or after flights.
A new Shake Shack stand just opened in the main terminal food court.
Shake Shack serves up 100 percent Angus burgers, chicken sandwiches, flat-top dogs, crinkle-cut fries, classic shakes and custards. The location will also be serving up breakfast each morning.
“We’re pleased to bring this wildly popular casual dining concept to the airport and offer passengers more of what they crave on the go,” said Tina LaForte, vice president of Fraport Cleveland, developer of the retail program at CLE. “Shake Shack is known for delicious, fresh-made food and premium ingredients. It’s perfect for today’s tastes.”
“Shake Shack puts a new spin on classic American food,” said Airport Director Robert Kennedy. “The response has been outstanding. We are thrilled to welcome this critically acclaimed eatery to the airport and offer travelers a fresh take on foods they grew up with.”
The stand will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Sunday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday.
The airport location is the second Shake Shack to open in Northeast Ohio. The first opened in June 2018 at the Pinecrest development in Orange Village.
