CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Last month, Dave’s Markets opened its new 55,000-square-feet full-service grocery store at the corner of East 61st Street and Chester Avenue. It offers a wider variety of foods, an expanded prepared foods section with onsite chefs, a pharmacy and liquor store. Food classes recently started, and plans call for a bank to open soon.
While the move to a newer and bigger site was highly anticipated, some longtime customers and community voiced concerns about being able to get to the new location.
Dave’s Markets told Cleveland 19 last month it would be working on setting up a shuttle to assist customers. The company has made good on that promise.
They recently announced complimentary shuttle service to its store at 1929 East 61st Street. Each customer will have about one hour to shop at the store.
