ERIE, OH (WOIO) - Terry Gritzan, 51, led the Erie County Sheriff Office on a high speed chase Thursday morning ending in his arrest.
According to officials, the deputies received a tip about a suspicious vehicle parked at the Sandusky Animal Hospital.
After being approached by police, the driver fled.
The pursuit ended when Gritzan crashed into a barrier at the NASA Plum Brook Station in Sandusky.
The vehicle stalled, Gritzan then took off on-foot before he was apprehended by police.
Gritzan was injured as a result of the crash and is currently in the hospital.
He has been charged with felony fleeing, and could face more charges soon.
