CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - The U.S. Marshals confirmed they arrested 23-year-old Jonathan Lamun near the 1600 block of Eddington Road around 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
U.S. Marshals said task force members tracked Lamun to the Cleveland Heights address and arrested him in the backyard after he attempted to flee on foot for the second time.
No one was injured in the scuffle, according to U.S. Marshals.
The Euclid Police Department said Lamun escaped from a police cruiser at 3 p.m. while being transported back to jail after his arrest in a nearby jurisdiction.
According to Euclid Police, Lamun kicked out the window and fled on I-90 West at East 55th Street.
He was last seen in the area of the Steelyard Commons in Cleveland prior to his re-arrest.
Police said Lamun has a residence on the 6800 block of Hosmer in Cleveland.
He was under arrest for aggravated menacing and considered dangerous.
The U.S. Marshals said Lamun is safely secured in the custody of the Euclid Police Department.
