STARK COUNTY, OH (WOIO) - It’s been confirmed that an EF-0 tornado passed through parts of Stark County Thursday night.
“It just got really loud and the whole house was shaking and the lights were flickering on and off,” said Perry Township homeowner, Bridgette Kirkbride.
What Kirkbride was feeling was the powerful force of the tornado touching down right outside of her Perry Township home.
"I've never felt anything like it before. I've never seen winds like that before," she added.
Eighty MPH winds were enough to topple over trees and place a random trampoline into one woman’s yard.
“There’s a trampoline in my back yard...and I don’t own a trampoline,” said Janella Mazzocca.
Perhaps the biggest surprise is the damage done to the Kirkbride’s family vehicle.
“We went to just open the door and the tree is like in the sunroof...It came straight down,” Mazzocca said.
Fortunately, no one fell victim to Mother Nature.
"It's really crazy. I'm just glad nobody was hurt. Last night was really scary," said Mazzocca.
The National Weather is still surveying damage to see if any other tornadoes potentially touched down Thursday night.
