Giant Eagle expanding fuelperks program

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Giant Eagle announced today that it is expanding its longstanding fuelperks customer loyalty program to deliver even more value to loyal shoppers.

The new program is called fuelperks+ and it has evolved from the traditional 10-cent reward for every $50 spent to include more ways to earn and redeem.

Customers will earn rewards on every transaction—groceries, gift cards, prescriptions, and now also on every gallon of fuel—and can redeem those perks however they like.

Redemption of up to a free tank of gas or 20 percent off any size grocery order.

“Our fuelperks! program has been greatly valued by our customers for more than a decade,” said Giant Eagle President and CEO Laura Shapira Karet.

“With fuelperks+, it was important that we build on the program’s strong legacy by adding new ways to save, earn, and redeem rewards, while maintaining the framework of the traditional program.
