CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Less than a week after announcing his intention to run for president of the United States, Beto O’Rourke made a campaign stop in Cleveland.
The appearance took place at Gino’s Cento Anno on Denison Avenue.
During the appearance, O’Rourke was questioned about varying topics, including climate change and student debt.
The Texas Democrat challenged Ted Cruz in the 2018 election for a Senate seat, but lost to the Republican. He previously served three terms in the U.S. House of Representatives.
O’Rourke hopes to win over voters by appealing to both major parties.
