CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Two people from Cuyahoga County died this week from the flu, bringing this season’s death toll to 11.
The victims included a 66-year-old man from Cleveland, and an 86-year-old woman from Broadview Heights.
This flu season has been relatively mild compared to previous years, but the Cuyahoga County Board of Health reported a surge in cases in early March.
The good news is the flu shot worked very well this year, and it’s still a good idea to get one to help lessen flu symptoms.
