CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Emma Isaac was having trouble getting a refund from her insurance company over a prepaid and now-cancelled policy.
Frustrated, she came to Cleveland 19 for answers and help to get her refund.
Isaac keeps detailed records and was having no luck with Aetna insurance over her more than $300 refund.
“January 27 was the very first call they got and I have been calling ever since that time until I decided to call you.” Isaac told reporter Paul Orlousky.
Aetna had promised a quick refund. It didn’t come for a week, but after a second call, it came.
“I was quite surprised. Right after seeing you and talking to you, I get the check in the mail.” said the 81-year-old woman. “It was a strain on me for a while, but it’s taken care of. I say shame on Aetna, but also thank you Aetna.”
