CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - The Ohio Department of Natural Resources is predicting “excellent fishing opportunities” on Lake Erie in 2019.
A record amount of walleye were reeled in during the 2018 fishing season, and wildlife experts are remaining optimized for this year.
State officials set a bag limit of four walleye per angler through April 30 and a limit of six walleye from May through February 2020. Walleye must be at least 15 inches in size during the fishing season.
The daily limit for yellow perch remains 30 in all of Lake Erie.
