CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - The Cleveland Cavaliers held an end of the year press conference Friday, April 12 and General Manager Koby Altman is locked in on finding the right leader for team.
The search officially begins today; one day after the Cavs parted ways with Larry Drew.
Watch the live stream from the 11 a.m. presser below:
“I think for us moving into the future we need to find the right fit for our guys.”
Altman spoke passionately about the young talent, name dropping Cedi Osman and Larry Nance Jr. as key pieces moving forward.
In terms of a new head coach, Altman said “I think we need to be obsessed with the process of getting better and not so much results driven, that’s the person I need to find.”
The Cavaliers are putting a lot of stock into the upcoming draft and are looking to pull a big name thanks to the lottery.
The organization will find out their fate Tuesday, May, 14.
