AVON, OH (WOIO) - A 16-year-old boy was arrested by Avon police after allegedly firing a gun into a home.
According to officers, police responded to the area of Haverford Place and South Park Drive around 9:30 p.m. on April 12.
When they arrived in the neighborhood, officers found a home in the 36000 block of Haverford Place that was struck by gunfire.
Officers said nobody inside the home was injured.
A 16-year-old Avon Lake boy is now charged with improperly discharging a firearm at or into a habitation.
He is now locked up in the Lorain County Juvenile Detention Facility.
Officers said the motive for the shooting remains under investigation and additional charges are possible.
