CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Netflix and Beyoncé combined for some middle of the night magic, with the streaming giant releasing the Beyoncé documentary “Homecoming” within minutes of the singer dropping an album of the same name.

Netflix’s announcement came just after 3 a.m. Wednesday, which was more than enough to get the Beyhive buzzing.

That buzz kicked into overdrive 20 minutes later when Beyoncé tweeted the album announcement to her nearly 15 million followers—her first tweet since June 2018.

“Homecoming” is a live album that features Beyoncé's iconic performance at the 2018 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

She was the first black woman to headline the event and stunned the crowd with an elaborate and unforgettable set, which included a marching band and dozens of backup dancers.

“Homecoming: The Live Album” is available to stream on Tidal, which is owned by Beyoncé's husband, rapper Jay-Z.

Props to the powers that be at Netflix, who have clearly mastered the art of building a buzz.

Of course, it never hurts to have the hive on your side.
