AKRON, OH (WOIO) - A 21-year-old man drove himself to the hospital after being shot while driving, according to police.
Akron officers said the victim was driving on Noble Avenue around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, when an unknown suspect fired shots into the vehicle.
The 21-year-old driver was grazed in the forehead.
The front seat passenger, another 21-year-old man, suffered a cut from flying glass below his eye and a bullet fragment near his mouth.
The back seat passenger, a 20-year-old man, was not injured.
After the shooting, the driver drove to the Emergency Department at Cleveland Clinic Akron General and called police.
Both victims were treated and released.
Officers said they do no have a description of the suspects.
