Cleveland Indians postpone Friday’s game, reschedule for weekend doubleheader

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - The Cleveland Indians postponed their Friday night game (7:05 p.m.) against the Atlanta Braves due to inclement weather.

The game has been rescheduled for 4:10 p.m. and fans will be get the treat of a doubleheader that evening.

According to a press release, “fans with tickets to the originally scheduled April 20 game who want to attend both games of the doubleheader may do so.”

The Tribe will finish up the series on Sunday April 21, with a nationally televised game on ESPN at 7:05 p.m.

The rain didn’t ruin all the fun

First baseman Carlos Santana was sworn in as United States citizen at federal court this morning in downtown Cleveland.
