Northeast Ohio Weather: Drying out the rest of the weekend

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - As of late Sunday afternoon, we're finally seeing some SUN in Cleveland! We've got an area of low pressure swirling around to our east that'll continue to push farther away from the area. Can't rule out a few spotty showers this evening through early, early Sunday morning as moisture wraps around the low, but no significant rain expected through the next few days.

Easter Sunday will be dry - and we'll be gradually clearing through the afternoon. Especially if you live on the west side - you've got a good shot of seeing some sunshine for a good bit of the afternoon tomorrow. The rest of us will remain partly to mostly cloudy with highs in the upper 50s and 60s.

High pressure will start building in late Sunday and will stick around through Monday - allowing for warmer and drier weather to start the work week. Highs will be in the low 70s Monday with mostly sunny skies. Nice!

Tuesday will start off not too bad, but another system will move over the Great Lakes dragging a cold front through the area later in the day/through the evening. Expect rain and rumbles along the front. Highs will stay warm in the 70s.

Rain will linger through early Wednesday before clearing out in the afternoon. Highs will be back in the low 60s.

Watching the weather models closely through the end of the next week because of timing differences - looks like we’ll have another shot of rain later Thursday in early Friday. Expect pretty run-of-the-mill April weather through the middle and end of next week with a few rain chances and highs in the 60s.
