CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Is there anything better than homemade pasta? The team at Flour Pasta Company doesn’t think so!
This week on Taste Buds, Chef Matt Mytro, founder and owner of the local pasta manufacturing company, will give viewers a step-by-step class on hand-making different shapes and styles of pasta.
He and I will be getting our hands (and our news set) dirty with flour, egg and water, to hand mix, roll and cut tagliatelle, pappardelle, and a filled dough, like agnolotti. We’ll also be using a KitchenAid stand mixer to demonstrate mixing the dough in a faster, cleaner, more efficient way than hand mixing it.
Don’t miss this live step-by-step demonstration by Chef Mytro, of Flour Restaurant in Moreland Hills. We’ll be available to answer your questions, and troubleshoot live through our Facebook Live broadcast.
I don’t know about you, but my homemade dough always ends up too dry, or too sticky, and never in the sweet elastic spot that makes it easy to work with. I can’t wait to learn how it’s done, the right way.
