CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Jazmine Moore said she is scared for her life, and for the lives of her two sons.
Her home has been broken into eight times since 2017. This year alone it’s been burglarized three times.
The latest incident occurred on Easter Sunday.
“I go to sleep when it’s light out cause I don’ t feel comfortable having the door open,' said Moore.
Moore lives at Outhwaite Homes, a CMHA housing development on the city’s East Side.
The management company replaced the lock, but she said it doesn’t work.
She said she places either a chair or a wooden beam under the door knob for extra security.
She has several police reports of all the break-in’s: “The police had me put on (CMHA’s) emergency move list, and they denied it," said Moore.
19 News went to the management company, but no one was there after hours.
