EUCLID, OH (WOIO) - Even if you’re the type of person who hates surprises, there was nothing to hate this morning for one Euclid resident who received the surprise of a lifetime from Publishers Clearing House.
The famous Prize Patrol from PCH, which has awarded over $420 million in prizes nationwide, traveled to Euclid Friday to award Susan and Mike McNeill with a $1 million prize.
The McNeill’s enter PCH every day, but had no clue they had won until the Prize Patrol showed up at the home with champagne, balloons, roses and the big check.
McNeill’s said they plan on using the money to help their two children and three grandchildren.
In order to maintain the surprise, PCH worked with local media to establish a “rendezvous point” at Tuthill’s Flowers on E. 185th Street in Euclid.
