Solon man arrested after leading police on slow speed chase all the way home (video)

SOLON, Ohio (WOIO) - A 39-year-old man was arrested after he led officers on a very slow chase, according to authorities.

Solon police said on May 25, officers pulled over Andre Frizzell at Richmond Road near Hawthorn Parkway for expired plates.

A slow speed chase in Solon ended with police officers smashing out the driver's side window of the vehicle. Officers shot pepper spray into the car through an open window.

Frizzell allegedly drove away from the traffic stop and went all the way home.

During the chase, Frizzell used his turn signals and obeyed various rules of the road.

After pulling into his driveway, he refused to exit the vehicle.

Officers shot pepper spray into the car through an open window.

Frizzell then moved to the passenger’s seat.

The officers then broke the driver’s side window and unlocked the door and removed him.

He was arrested and charged with fleeing and eluding, resisting, driving under suspension and expired plates.
