2 found dead in the Rocky River Reservation; relative says they were shot in the head

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Metroparks police said two people were found dead in the Rocky River Reservation Tuesday.

According to the police, the victims were discovered around 5:30 p.m. north of the Lorain Road Bridge.

Police added the investigation is ongoing and no further information is being released at this time.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner has identified the victims as Carnell Sledge, 40, of North Olmsted, and Katherine Brown, 33, of Fairview Park.

The medical examiner will now determine the cause and manner of death.

Family members told 19 News the victims were both shot in the head.
