Apparent tornado spotted in Geauga County, severe weather knocks down barn and rips off roof

HUNTSBURG TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WOIO) - Severe storms and a possible tornado ripped through Geauga County on Thursday, leaving thousands of dollars of damage in its wake.

According to the Geauga County Sheriff’s Office, a home’s roof was ripped off and a barn was knocked down in the 15000 block of Chardon Windsor Road.

Well the storm that rolled through caused some damage. Lots of rain fell fast. Looks like some isolated strong winds also in Huntsburg Township. On the scene now to help.

Also, a 19 News viewer captured what appeared to be a weak tornado in the same area.

Anyone else in hunstburg see this. It was insane. I didn't catch the funnel forming even though we saw it. Couldn't get my phone out fast enough
