CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - A house fire on the 5000 block of Pershing Avenue kept crews occupied early Tuesday morning.
19 News crews were on the scene around 1 a.m. when flames erupted from the two-story home.
Firefighters said the second floor collapsed while they were inside, but nobody was injured.
Fortunately nobody was home at the time, but neighbors said a family did occupy the home.
Their dog was rescued from the home after he ran back inside once the fire was out.
Firefighters said the fire did $20,000 in damages and they have requested the home to be demolished.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
