Massillon water rescue

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - When an elderly man became stranded in his car after flash floods on Sunday, a Massillon patrol officer came to the rescue.

The water reached up to the man’s door and seeped into the car, forcing him to stay inside.

Patrol Officer Mike Manos responded to the scene. He helped the man escape through the window and then carried him to dry land.

Massillon police responded to multiple flash flood-related incidents this past weekend.
