CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Oppressive, excessive and dangerous, that’s what they are calling the heat wave that is hitting Ohio this weekend.

It wasn’t that long ago our faces hurt from the bitter cold. The gallery below of 26 photos may help you cool down.

The Excessive Heat Warning is in effect for our entire region from Friday afternoon through Saturday evening.

The heat index, or “feels like” temperature, will may reach 105° - 107° each afternoon.
