CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - For 80 years, there has only been one brand synonymous with French onion chip dip in Cleveland -- Lawson’s.
The recipe hasn’t changed since it was first created, according to Circle K.
The dip is sold in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, parts of Indiana and northern Kentucky.
Although Lawson’s stores have been closed for years in the United States, Circle K stores still sell the popular french onion dip. Some Drug Mart stores also carry the dip.
Since 1975, Lawson’s is one of the top convenience store chains in Japan today.
