OVI sobriety checkpoint planned for this week in Ohio
(WOIO) - The Ohio State Highway Patrol is planning an OVI checkpoint in Ohio this week.
OSHP’s Akron Post said the goal is to “deter and intercept impaired drivers” throughout the area.
The county where the checkpoint will take place will be announced a day before the scheduled day. A specific location will also be announced the morning of the checkpoint day.
OSHP reminds those who plan to consume alcohol to coordinate with a designated driver.
