Toxic algal bloom shuts down Columbia Road Beach in Bay Village

BAY VILLAGE, Ohio (WOIO) - It’s a shutdown.

Columbia Road Beach is closed until further notice due to a toxic algal bloom.

According to Bay Village Police, people and pets are not allowed to enter the water due to the public health risk.

Huntington Beach, at this point, is still open.
