Northeast Ohio Weather: Temps near 90 with a few storm chances

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - A warm front lifting through the area will continue to crank up the heat this afternoon and through the week. Cloud cover will start to increase through the overnight.

A cold front will move north over the lake tomorrow afternoon and evening, bringing the chance for a few storms. Highs will once again be near 90°.

With some heat and humidity sticking around Thursday, we can't rule out a few afternoon storms. We'll be cloudier and a bit cooler behind the front, highs will be near 80°.

A stronger front will push through Friday afternoon and evening. This will allow for temperatures to surge into the low 90s, and will bring more widespread rain and storm chances through the afternoon and evening. Friday night football could see some impacts.

The weekend looks mainly dry with temperatures back in the middle 70s Saturday and near 80 Sunday.
