Brecksville woman finds 6-foot-long Boa Constrictor slithering around neighborhood

BRECKSVILLE, Ohio (WOIO) - Can you imagine? A Brecksville mother found a 6-foot-long Boa Constrictor slitheirng around her neighborhood Monday afternoon.

The mother of two called Brecksville Animal Control and a crew came out to capture the snake.

The Animal warden said the snake was likely released by someone who no longer wanted it for a pet.

The boa constrictor is a healthy girl. She’s being kept at Herps Alive Foundation, a reptile rescue in South Euclid.

The owner says she’ll be fed and kept there until the Veterinarian gives her clearance to be adopted.
