CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Long-time pitcher CC Sabathia announced his retirement from baseball on Monday, Oct. 21.

The pitcher had an emotional send-off with the New York Yankees after leaving the game with a shoulder injury.

Sabathia spent 10 seasons with the Tribe, including his rookie year in 2001.
