CINCINNATI, Ohio (WOIO) - A beer that is illegal in 15 states will soon be available in Ohio for the first time ever.

Utopias 2019, from the brewers at Samual Adams, will be poured on Nov. 15 from the company’s Cincinnati-area taproom.

The "barrel-aged extreme beer" has a 28% ABV. To compare, the traditional Samural Adams Boston Lager has a 5% ABV.

Only 77 casks of limited-release beer were brewed this year. It is also available in a 25.4-ounce bottle with a price tag of more than $200.

To celebrate the release, the Ohio taproom is holding a pouring event on Nov. 15 and Nov. 16. Tickets for the event are $20 and will get customers a 1-ounce pour with a collector’s glass
