COLUMBUS, Ohio (WOIO) - The Ohio State University’s star defensive end Chase Young will have to sit out one last game as part of his punishment for accepting a personal loan back in 2018 against NCAA rules.
Young already missed last Saturday’s game against Maryland as OSU’s athletic department conducted the investigation.
However, OSU announced on Wednesday that Young will return after this Saturday’s matchup against the Rutgers in Piscataway, NJ.
ESPN reporter Jake Trotter tweeted out OSU’s announcement regarding the NCAA’s decision:
Chase Young was quick to tweet out his own response to the announcement, thanking Buckeye Nation for the support he’s received along the way.
