Cheerleaders from Steele High School in Amherst perform in Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
Parade officials and the New York Police Department are watching the wind.

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The cheerleaders from Steele High School made their debut in the 93rd annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The performers made their way from the Amherst-area high school to the iconic parade in New York City.

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is televised internationally to an estimated 50 million viewers.

Approximately 1,300 students are enrolled at Amherst’s Marion L. Steele High School.
