CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Those who dread early sunsets are better off going into hibernation until Christmastime.

According to the National Weather Service, the next time the sun will set after 5 p.m. is on Christmas Eve.

Friday’s sun will set at 4:58 p.m.

Friday will see only nine hours and 27 minutes of sunlight. The amount of daylight will continue to decrease until the winter solstice on Dec. 21.
