HAMBDEN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WOIO) - A seriously injured victim was flown by Life-Flight helicopter to University Hospitals following a violent two-car accident in Geauga County Friday night.

The crash occurred on US-6 between Cutts Road and Grant Street at about 9:30 p.m., according to OHGO.

Hambden Township authorities are investigating the cause of the crash, and the highway was reopened after a brief closure.
