Downtown Fifth Third Bank has first of its kind renovations

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Fifth Third Bank is working to resolve network issues that are impacting some customers.

The banking company first reported the issues on Friday just after 1:30 p.m.

**UPDATE: We experienced a temporary issue within our network connectivity this afternoon. Service is now being gradually restored and we apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for your patience.

Customers reported issues with online accounting, as well as paying for bills or purchases with their debit cards.

As of 4:15 p.m., Fifth Third Bank officials say service was gradually being restored.
