Update: Overnight house fire in Cleveland injures 1 man

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - An overnight fire on Cleveland’s east side sent one man to the hospital.

The 38-year-old resident is being treated for burns and listed in stable condition after being taken to MetroHealth Hospital.

Firefighters were called out to Temblett Avenue in the Forest Hills neighborhood around 1:30 a.m.

Authorities believe the fire was unintentional, most likely a space heater.

The fire was mostly contained to the bedroom, although there was some spreading to the attic.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
