AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) - Shannon Ingol, 22, of Barberton, pleaded guilty to murder on Wednesday for fatally shooting his father, according to Summit County Prosecutor Sherri Bevan Walsh.

Immediately after he delivered the plea, Ingol was sentenced to life in prison by Judge Alison Breaux.

On June 19, 2019, Ingol shot 41-year-old Shannon Callahan to death at Callahan’s Barberton home.

Ingol will be eligible for parole in 2036.
