Northeast Ohio weather: Few showers around before a big warm weekend warm-up

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Tonight, clouds will clear and lows will drop into the low 50s.

Showers will linger mainly south and west of Cleveland tomorrow, with highs right around 70.

The lingering shower chances hang around through Friday, with lows in the mid 50s and highs around 70.

The warming trend begins Saturday with highs in the middle 70s.

We will see 80s by Sunday.

With a more summer-like pattern, afternoon thunderstorms cannot be ruled out.

Highs stay in the 80s through early next week.
