19 First Alert Weather Day: Strong thunderstorms form Wednesday afternoon with possibility for tornadoes

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The 19 First Alert Team is monitoring the risk of severe storms later Wednesday afternoon and evening for Northeast Ohio.

The timing, as of now, is 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. These storms develop in advance of a strong cold front. It will be windy, hot, and humid Wednesday before the storms develop.

Wind damage and the possibility of a tornado will be the biggest threats. The team is watching this closely for you.
