Experts predict this year’s tick season could be bad
CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The news in 2020 keeps getting worse.
The Lyme Disease Research Group of the University of New Haven reports a milder 2019-2020 winter could make this year’s tick season especially rough.
Leading researchers also say that because people have been stuck inside due to COVID-19, which has similar symptoms as tick-borne illnesses like Lyme disease, they may be more at risk than usual and let their guards down when outdoors.
