Tribe slice roster to 30 for Opening Night

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Jake Bauers was the biggest name trimmed from the Indians roster as the team cut down to the 30-player limit before Friday’s Opening Night.

Bauers, in his 2nd year with the Tribe, his .226 with 12 homers a year ago.

He will remain in Lake County working out at the team’s alternate facility.

The Indians open Friday at home against Kansas City.
