CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - On Wednesday, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine made national headlines when he announced a statewide mask mandate.
The new order, which was announced amid another wave of coronavirus cases, went into effect on Thursday at 6 p.m.
Tuesday marked the third highest number of new cases in the state, with 1,527 infections reported. On Thursday, 1,444 cases were reported.
