CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Indians manager Terry Francona will not be managing the Tribe as they take on the Twins in Minnesota on Sunday.
MLB.com’s Mandy Bell said he is dealing with a minor gastrointestinal condition, and his level of wellness is not COVID-19 related.
Bell said Francona has returned to the team hotel while Sandy Alomar will manage the club and Kyle Hudson will coach first base.
The Twins are up 2-1 in their homestand against the Tribe.
